CEO of GIS inducted into Entrepreneur of the Year Hall of Fames

Raymond Conrad, the Owner and Chief Executive Officer of General Information Services, Inc. (GIS) was inducted into the Ernst & Young Hall of Fame at an awards gala in Palms Springs, Calif. on November 17. This comes after he was recognized at the Carolinas Entrepreneur of the Year awards ceremony in June for his role in making GIS the Top Services Company in the Carolinas.
Conrad has been in the background investigations and security business for more than 40 years. Under his leadership, GIS’ revenue has grown by over 3000 percent since 1996, while number of employees at the company has grown by 98 percent in the last 2.5 years, officially making GIS the largest, and fastest growing, employer in Chapin, SC.
For the past 20 years, Ernst & Young has celebrated the entrepreneurial spirit of men and women in business by recognizing their outstanding achievements in the Hall of Fame.
